Know all the frequently asked questions about Private Faro Airport transfers from Faro airport to all destination in the Algarve

I have just booked a transfer with you, but I have not received my voucher. What shall I do now?

First, please check your SPAM or JUNK MAIL box. If you still have not found your voucher in your email, please contact us in order to verify your email address in our system.


Do I get charged or pay extra for cancelling my booking?

If you cancel your booking 24 hours before the transfer service there will be no charges, and if applicable, we shall refund your payment.
 


Can the client book a transfer for the same day?

We usually only accept bookings up to 24 hours prior to arrival. But this might be possible so please contact us and please note that last minute bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.


What if I need to change some details in my booking? How long do I have before I can let you know?

Please let us know at least 48 hours before your transfer. This will ensure you receive the voucher with the correct details.


Can 9 passengers sit in a 8 seater vehicle?

No, according to Portuguese law, every passenger must be in their individual seat with their own seat belt.


Can you do tours and long distance itinerary transfers?

Definitely yes, if the desired itinerary is not available on our website, please contact us for a quote.


What equipment’s are available in the vehicles?

 All of our vehicles are equipped with mobile chargers to be used by all our guests for free.


Is it allowed to eat or drink in the vehicles?

No, it is absolutely forbidden to eat or drink in the vehicles. The only exception is water.


Am I able to take animals on a transfer?

Generally, we do not allow animals in our vehicles. However there might be some exceptions. For more information please contact us.


After arrival, how do I locate my driver or vehicle at the Faro Airport?

Your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall, he will be holding a rectangular white board with your name on it, so you easily identify him. This information can be found on the voucher you will receive after booking.  On the voucher you can also find our  24 hour telephone contacts, in the event that you still have problems finding the driver.


Will there be any extra charges for delayed flights?

 No, there won't be any extra charges for delayed flights.


If the flight is delayed, will the transfer be waiting for me?

Yes of course, flight arrival times are monitored; this is why it is important that you   provide us with correct flight details. However if there is a significant delay or the flight was cancelled or you had to be transferred to another flight, please contact us immediately in order to re-schedule the pick-up. Please note that if you fail to advice in time a second transfer may be charged.


How long will I have to wait at the airport?

Your private transfer will be at the airport at scheduled arrival time of your flight. As we monitor flight arrival times, we will be waiting for you when you arrive.


Where are your vehicles parked?

All transfer vehicles are parked in a designated area by the airport authorities. At Faro airport our vehicles are parked in Park 6.


What will happen if I take more than one hour to report to the driver or representative after the flight lands?

First we will try to call your mobile but if it's turned off or there is no answer, we will classify your airport transfer as a NO SHOW. There is no refund  in this case.


Do your prices include toll fees to and from the airport?

No, toll fees are not included in our prices. Please note that toll roads can be used upon request and the toll fees will be charged. 


Are the transfers direct or are there stops along the way?

All transfers are Private, just for yourself and your fellow passengers, so they are direct and door-to-door.


Would it be possible to stop at a local supermarket and if so, is there any extra charge?

We can stop only if it's on route and if the driver does not have any other service right after yours. Please mention this in your booking so that we can schedule it with the driver. The first 15 minutes are free of charge, after that we charge € 10,00 per every additional 15 minutes.


Will your driver drop me off and pick me up at the door of my accommodation?

 Yes, we will drop you off and pick you up at the address indicated in your reservation.


Is it possible to have 2 drop-offs with the same private airport transfers within the same city?

Yes, and we shall not charge anything extra for this. Please let us know in advance and mention this when you enter the booking.  


Do we have to pay extra for baby seats or booster seats?

No, we supply them free of charge, as all children under the age of 12 must use them, according to Portuguese law. For babies aged 0-6 month the parents have the responsibility to bring their own car seat.


Do you apply special rates for children or babies?

No, infants and children do count as one person, as they take up a seat belt place.


What is the baggage policy for transfers?

Each passenger is allowed one normal sized piece of baggage with a maximum weight of twenty kilos (20kg) and 55cm x 40cm x 20cm and one piece of hand baggage up to five kilos (5kg) and 35cm x 20cm x 20cm. The vehicle to transport you will be adequate for the number of people traveling and luggage contracted. Any excess luggage must be declared at the time of booking. You shall be liable for all additional expenses incurred, including the cost of obtaining additional vehicles to transport non-declared excess baggage and we reserve the right to refuse to carry the items of excess baggage.  


Will I get charged extra for transporting my golf clubs?

As long as each passenger brings only their own set of golf clubs, we will not charge extra for this. Please mention this at the time of booking.


If we decide to pay cash upon arrival for the airport transfer, is it compulsory to pay the full amount of the transfer upon arrival?

Our drivers are instructed to receive the full amount upon arrival to your accommodations but if needed, they can receive only for the transfer provided.
